December 1, 1876, 2 Shares Common Stock, Black on blue border and underprint, Speeding locomotive on top with portrait on bottom, ITASB Jay Cooke as Trustee, Poc's, Jay Cooke was an American financier. Cooke and his firm Jay Cooke & Company were most notable for their role in financing the Union's war effort during the American Civil War. In his later career, Cooke was noted for his role in the financing of railroads in the northwestern United States.

Samuel F.B. Morse Autographed Letter dated August 3, 1816. Boston, Massachusetts. 1 full page, small 4to, American artist and inventor. He was a pioneer photographer in America using the Daguerre technique taught to him by the French inventor and photographer, Daguerre. Achieved fame and fortune for the invention of the Morse code. To augment his income as a painter, he became a pioneer photographer bringing the daguerreotype to America, he was appointed professor of painting and sculpture at the University of New York and later professor of the literature and art of design. Early autographed 1816 letter to his friend and fellow artist Charles Bird King. Morse relates his current endeavors to King "I leave tomorrow morng on a sketching tour through Vermont, N.Hampshire & N.York to be gone 2 or 4 mo(nths). .....I hope one day to paint some large historical pictures...I can't get Delaplaine to pay me, I shall not paint any more for him till he does...", Important letter from this historical figure.

Marshall, General of the Armies, Five Star, Chief of Staff, Combined Staff, United Nations; H.H. Arnold, General of the Armies, Five Star, Commander in Chief, Army Air Force; William H. Leahy, Admiral of the Fleet, Five Star, Chief of Staff to the President; James Byrnes, Secretary of State;; A.C. McAuliffe, Lieutenant General "Nuts to You" - Bastogne; Evangeline Booth, Salvation Army and other high ranking military officers. Amazing and historic Short Snorter with the autograph of Truman right above the "ONE" on the back. VF condition with most signatures strong and legible. Philip Lehman Signed Irving Bank-Columbia Trust Co. Stock Certificate. NY, 1923, 100 Shares, I/C, S/N 247. ITASB Philip Lehman. Philip Lehman was an American investment banker. He was born in New York City to Emanuel Lehman and Pauline Sondheim, Emanuel was a co-founder of investment bank, Lehman Brothers. Philip became a partner in the family-owned firm in 1887 and was the firm's managing partner from 1901 to 1925. He was also the first chairman of the board of the Lehman Corporation.
