Unique Silver Spice Container – the Ottoman Empire, the Late 19th Century – Large, Impressive, rare Item
A silver (has been examined, not marked) spice container decorated with ethnic engravings shaped as a goblet with a lid on a hinge. The lid has holes for spreading the smell of the spices. The container stands on a wide plate with three spherical stems.
Size: Height: 16cm. Diameter: 14cm.
Weight: 403gr.
Condition: Very Good. A tiny crack in the stem of the container.
