Rabbi Moshe Feinstein was one of the leading Poskim of his generation. He came to the USA in 1933, where he was head of the "Tiferet Yerushalayim" Yeshiva of New York from approximately fifty years, until his death. He also served as the president of the Union of Rabbis of the USA and Canada and as president of the Ezrat Torah Organization. He received questions from rabbis from all around the world on Halachic matters.

רבי משה פיינשטיין, מגדולי הפוסקים בדורו, הגיע בשנת תרצ"ג לארצות הברית, שם היה ראש ישיבת "תפארת ירושלים" בניו יורק במשך כחמישים שנה, עד לפטירתו. כיהן כנשיא אגודת הרבנים של ארצות הברית וקנדה, וכנשיא ארגון עזרת תורה. קיבל אליו פניות בענייני הלכה מרבנים בעולם.
