Tunisia. Envelope with letter written in Tunisi from Andrea Peluffo who will become president of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Tunisia in 1884. On 29/1/1845 the envelope was handed over the “per Cap.no Scala” commander of the cargo ship. In Corsica on 22/3/1845 was taken over by French steamer that transport it at Marseille. Here where was charged for 20 decimes tax (2 French Francs). VERY INTERESTING FORERUNNER ENVELOPE that took two months to arrive at destination.
