1870 Field Post cover to a Lieutenant of the Royal Saxon XII. Army Corps, 23rd Devision, 46th Brigade, 103rd Inf. Regt. during the Siege of Paris, franked by 1858 12 øre blue (x2) and 1863 3 øre brown all tied by DANISH "FRA SVERIG 27/9 1870" c.d.s., and on the reverse with Copenhagen and Flensburg transit datestamps. The stamps with a few short perfs (at covers edges) and short tears in both 12 øre otherwise fine. A VERY SCARCE COVER TO THE BESIEGERS OF PARIS. Dr. H. Obermüller-Wilén certificate.
