In the letter she is writing: ”…I did not answer your letter as anyway it was useless and it would stay at the post office. Today the convoy should come so I am writing in a hurry…”. The village (near Lydda) was under partial siege as of 29 November 47 & was serviced by convoys escorted by the British Army, the siege was lifted on 10.7.1948, on back return address - children’s group A, Ben Shemen; roughly opened at left, f-vf & Rare Historic document, certif Tsachor-Aloni
