1883-84 QV 'Lilacs & Greens' set 1½d to 1/- of IMPERFS from imprimatur sheets. VF fresh M/MLH, original gum, almost all 4 margins & all nice original colours. SG Spec K18a-26a(var) cat £8900+ as imprimaturs, SG 188a-96a(var) would est cat £50,000 as normal imperfs. Extremely rare set for specialist as only 48 ea were removed from imprimatur sheets & of those only tiny number are recorded in collections. Top 2 vals with 2017 Ceremuga photo certs. (9). (P)
