PP2) struck twice on May 26, 1845 folded letter from Boston to Brunswick Me. with May 31 reply on other side, sender's notation "single & paid in full", Very Fine, a rare marking which was used only in Boston and indicated that local delivery was prepaid, Gutman records only seven examples, this is the only one with two strikes, ex Dr. Puliafito (Image Magnifier)
