MAURITIUS, 1924, 50r Lilac & Green (200; SG 222). Neat "General Post Office" postal cancellation (Proud Ty. D72), slightly washed color which is endemic to this stamp even in unused condition, otherwise Very Fine, a rare postally used example of this high value (Sismondo notes it is the first sound example he has expertized), the first of which we have offered since keeping computerized records, with 2019 Sismondo certificate, Scott 2,750.00, SG £2,750 (Image Magnifier)
