Public Auction 624 Large Hermes Heads (1861-1867) The Wolfgang Bauer Championship Collection, Part II

Diplomatic cover from foreign Ministry in Athens to the Greek Consul in Munich, Bavaria sent Oct. 10 1861 short after the introduction of Greek stamps, arrived Nov. 2 1861. Only the foreign part to Triest and Munich had to be paid with 90 lepta. A fine postal history document showing a unique official domestic free franking usage. (Hellas 4b+7a).
