1948 interim mail JERUSALEM / 1st day "Egg" postmark: local commercial cover (requisitioned OHMS stationary) from Minhelet Ha'am Income Tax Office (two clear strikes of scarce cachet on front) franked period letter rate using 10m 2nd local issue Ba105 (Doar Ivri stamps available in the city only as of 20 June) and tied by full strike of first day of use "egg" postmark 22 JUNE 1948 (a day before the end of the 'postal siege' on Jerusalem); roughly opened at left and resealed, vertical fold.
