AUSTRIA-INDIA, 1865, Entire letter from Trieste to Bombay, franked with 1864, 2 kreuzer yellow, 5 kreuzer rose and 4 copies 15 kreuzer brown, all tied by oval "TRIEST V.E. 3/3"; in Alexandria franked with GB 1 shilling green (scissors' cut at bottom), tied by clear "B01". On reverse Trieste tax stamp "15/52", transit mark "ALEXANDRIA MR 12 65" and Bombay arrival mark of March 28. The 2 kreuzer and one 15 Kreuzer affected by horizontal filing crease, otherwise a fine and fresh letter, especially for this destination. A remarkable and most atrractive combination letter. 1865, Kompletter Faltbrief von Triest nach Bombay, frankiert mit 1864, 2 Kreuzer gelb, 5 Kreuzer rosa und 4 Stück 15 Kreuzer braun, alle mit saubererm Ovalstempel "TRIEST V.E. 3/3"; in Alexandria frankiert mit GB 1 Shilling grün (unten Scherenschnitt) mit klarem, übergehendem "B01" für das britische Porto jenseits von Alexandria. Die 2 unten klebenden Werte der Frankatur durch waagerechten Briefbug getroffen, sonst - insbesondere für diese Destination - gute und frische Erhaltung.
