69L5, Frazer & Co., Cincinnati, 1845-51 2c Black on grayish, large margins, light wear at top left from placement, pen "X" just ties to locally-addressed pre-printed folded circular, small tear at the bottom through part of the address, still Very Fine, Robert B. Meyersburg's "Frazer & Company City Despatch/ Express Post" (Penny Post Vol. 2, No. 3) records four covers of the Frazer & Co. eagle stamp on grayish, including two incoming (both re-addressed), one local use (presumably the cover offered here), and one unpaid to the mails (ex-Chapman, Kuphal), a wonderful and rare cover (Scott $7,000 for the stamp on cover tied by handstamp)Carriers & Locals
