Israel 1948 Interim - 2nd Convoy multi rate weight registered cover. May 18 1948 reg. cover mailed by Doctor L. Berger to a family member Michael Berger (at Grandpa) Nes Tzionia 4A Street Tel Aviv. Multi rate, franked total of 55 Mils local map stamps of the 2nd issue, 10mil for basic letter rate + 15mil for registration + 30mil for x5 additional weights (6mil per extra 30 Grams). Tel Aviv arrival p/m on back dated 21.6.1948 (2nd convoy arrival date). This postmark with inverted Hebrew dated slug error. VF & scarce.
