Israel 1948 Interim - Besieged Sdom southern Israel. DOUBLE COURIER COVER that was sent July 1948 by S. Mintzberg, a member of the Executive Committee of the Sdom workers council (Cachet on back). It was addressed to the Beit Hadar Manpower section of the army, casualty Dept. (Tel Aviv). The cover transported by courier to Jerusalem, where it was franked with 10 Mil stamp of the 2nd issue. Then it continued via a 2nd courier to Tel Aviv where it was mailed locally and the stamp cancelled with a Tel Aviv Tri-Lingual postmark 27.7.1948. This cover appeared on the back cover of the Holyland postal history magazine, No. 49/50 in the spring of 1992. VF & very rare 1948 war of independence postal history item.
