Israel 1948 Interim - Registered cover mailed from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv. franked local map stamps for total of 25 Mils, tied by tri-lingo postmarks 7.7.1948. Tel Aviv arrival p/m on back 8.7.1948. Cover mailed From Zeltzer By Kapulas Zion Sqaure Jerusalem to Shnizer Shoe factory King George Street 31 Tel Aviv.  Registration label "Jerusalem 8"  was used by personal of the Jewish agency office as of  July 7 1948. Only very few registered letters from that period are know from other institutes such as this cover. This is the only cover known with "Jerusalem 8" registeration label , mailed with local map stamps !!! The cover pictured in the Shimony/Karpovsky Catalog val.2 part 1 , page 134. Cover short on right side, otherwise F-VF rare postal history item from war of independence.
