Israel Postal History - The besieged Negev. Cover sent from Kibbutz Yad Mordechai to the commander of Golani Brigade with Tel Aviv arrival postmark on front alongside one line Hebrew "Printed Matter". Kibbutz Yad Mordechai P.O Box 1511 Tel Aviv (address for forwarding mail during that time)  imprinted address on back alongside military postmark of Misrad (office) 10   20 May 1949. Misrad 10 military p/m was in use in Ruchama in the southern Negev & this cover was flown from there by Piper plane to Sde Dov airport Tel Aviv. F-VF rare & important mail from the besieged Negev.
