As with most old time collections, condition will be mixed as some times condition was sacrificed for variety, but also you can expect to find some interesting varieties that are missing from many modern collections. Some of the early 19th century stamps have had cancels removed or have gum issues, but the vast majority are mint with high Scott values, generally Fine to Very Fine appearance, we recommend a careful inspection to properly evaluate.
