original archive of 48 picture postcards send from different POW-camps in China (a.o. Tsingtau) and Japan between 1914-1920. Most cards with traces of cellotape.Tsingtau was a former German territory in China and was captured by the British and Japanese during World War I. Added Handbuch Kriegsgefangenenpost Tsingtau door Helmut Rüfer (Düsseldorf 1964). Very interesting lot!
