The Australian New Hebrides Company 1897 (March 17): 1 d. magenta-pink & black used on small combination piece with New South Wales 2½ d. deep blue, each tied by "NEW HEBRIDES / VILA" datestamps (4 Sept 1897) in black. Slight bend but scarce thus. Opinion Holcombe (1992).
