Post office in Belgrade 1842 (Dec. 13): Receipt of delivery for a document sent by the local Military administration of Semlin to Belgrad regarding a craftsman of Austrian nationality living in Belgrad, struck with crisp "SIGILLIUM SANITATIS" disinfection handstamp applied at Semlin. An interesting item from the first year of the Austrian Levant Post Office in Belgrade, illustrated and discussed in 'Die Österreichische Post in der Levante' on page 140.
