1840: Mulready 1 d. black envelope, Substituted Stereo A173, a used example from London to Wolverhampton cancelled by fine Maltese Cross in red (just touching the base of Britannia) with reverse showing London despatch cds (May 30) in black. Scarce - an early date of use for this replaced stereo Gi ME2d = £ 650.rn
