1840: Mulready 1 d. black letter-sheet, Stereo A54, a used example from Leamington to Ramsgate cancelled by fine Maltese Cross in red with reverse, opening well for display, showing LEAMINGTON double arc cds in black (May 10, 1840 - the first 'Sunday' date) and London transit cds in red (May 11).
