"El Sol de Mayo" 1856 (Oct 1): Carrier 80 c. pale green, a very fine example with large even margins all round (position 11 on the sheet of 35 subjects), uncancelled and used on 24 December 1856 double weight entire letter from Durazno to Rodriguez Alonso in Montevideo. Slight tape stain repair at right some distance from the very fine adhesive. A rare and particularly fine entire.
