1863: First Issues, 4 r. green and 1 p. orange, complete imperforate plate proof sheets of 100, the 4 r. showing the 'double transfer' variety on position 8, both trimmed around edges with small even margins all round, includes the printer's imprints, printed on thin white paper and mounted on thick card, scarce duo. Additionally comes with three Die Proofs, comprising 1 p. orange, block of four, imperforate, with imprint side marginal ABN Co. imprint at side, with four margins; a 2 r. single in black with four margins very fresh and the same value in a block of four in a vibrant orange shade, all printed on white paper and mounted on card, slight soiling and tone spot to top of the 2 r. orange which does not detract, otherwise very fine, attractive and scarce group.
