Colonial 1809 (June 15): Registered prepaid cover from Lima to Santiago de Chile, with five # at edges denoting registration with some acid ink faults, struck with "CERTIFICACION / A. LIMA" and straight line "FRANCA" and "LIMA" handstamps in red. Reverse with rating (Post 6 and registration 10 reales = 16 reales) and docketing of safe receipt as per regulations. Scarce and most attractive cover.
