1866: Dom Pedro 20 r. red-lilac, a horizontal pair over-lapped by 1850 10 r. grey-black, used on 1873 entire letter to Rio de Janeiro tied by oval framed "TURVO" despatch handstamp in violet (Ayers fig. 1515). Rio de Janeiro arrival cds (June 21) on reverse in black. Vertical file fold away from the adhesives, some slight aging but a rare cancellation.
