1853 (Aug. 18): Entire letter from Bahia to Cadiz, Spain sent care of Forwarding Agent "Bruces Hamilton & Co., Teneriffe", struck on despatch with "♚ / PAID AT / BAHIA" in blue with manuscript "1/-" prepaid in oxidised red ink at left. Double arc "BAHIA" cds on flap (Aug. 20) also in blue. Reverse witth "Teneriffe / Canarias" cds and Cadiz arrival cds (Sept. 12) and rated "10 Rs." due, all in red. An attractive and very rare entire Gi CC1 = £ 3'750/Scott = unpriced.
