1841: 1 d. pink envelope used in 1852 and utilised as a formula envelope, carried privately to Sydney, New South Wales with reverse showing "SHIP LETTER / ♚ / SYDNEY" incoming Ship Letter datestamp (July 10) in black. Manuscript "3" pence due for incoming letter at left, locally readdressed on arrival. Aged and slight imperfections but extremely rare.
