British India Post Office 1882/90: India 1865 1 a. deep brown single and horizontal strip of four and 1873 ½ a blue, Die II, three singles, a pair and a strip of three all used on 1883 cover at double rate to Bristol, tied by "Zanzibar / B" circle of bars duplex (Type Z3) in black (Feb 1). Reverse with ADEN transit cds (Feb 18) and Bristol and Clifton arrival cds's (Feb 28). The cover opened for display and with some small tone spots but a remarkable and rare franking.
