Incoming Mail 1859/65: General issues 10 c. bistre in a horizontal strip of three (Yvert 3), just shaved at left with large margins on three sides and showing portion of adjoining stamp at right, used on 1863 entire letter from Réunion to Mauritius endorsed by private ship "Sirène", tied by dotted obliterator with "ST. DENIS" despatch cds (Dec 10) in black. Mauritius arrival cds (Dec 16) on reverse and charged "6d." due to pay in blue crayon (per ½ oz.) on obverse prior to the issue of Postage Due handstamps in 1864. An attractive cover.
