1865 (Aug 31): Triple rate Entire letter from Capriati al Volturno directed to Caserta, bearing 1863 (Dec 1) DLR printing 1 c. green-grey, seven single examples and a strip of three in combination with 10 c. ochre-orange, three single adhesives, tied by light CAPRIATI AL VOLTURNO" cds. Reverse with Bourbon-style VENAFRO, and NAPOLI transit as well as indistincz arrival cds's of the same day. A most interesting cover paying three times the 20 c. inland rate. Signed E.
