Corinphila Auction 284-290 Day 3

1868: Lecoq 1 d. green, a strip of four and a strip of five in the bluish green shade, used on 1874 registered cover to Lima, with floral stars at edges to denote registration (8), all cancelled by "Huancavelica" datestamps (March 6) in black. Framed "CERTIFICACION" handstamp at right and reverse with 'Lima / Correos' cds (March 14). Receipted internally, the rate split is a per franking 4 d. for registration and 5 d. for postage; minor stain at base and a couple of stamps with faults but of very fine appearance and a rare cover.
