1903 (Dec 14): De La Rue Appendix sheet for the new addly 2½ d. value, dated at top "14th Dec 1903", with Imperforate Colour Trials (3) on wmk. Crown CA paper, grey & ultramarine (with "Approved 17.12" and signed Sir William Mercer). second in deep violet & ultramarine and third in dull green & ultramarine. Illustrated in the "De La Rue Collection" edited by Frank Walton on page 6075. A fine and rare sheet.
