1902 (Jan 16): De La Rue Appendix sheet showing three imperforate Colour Trials with 3 d. Duty Plates in deep slate & orange, bistre & pale green and in deep purple & magenta, each annotated "2/-" alongside in manuscript, handstamped upon receipt (Jan 18) by the Crown Agents. The first example in deep slate & orange signed off with "WHM" in manuscript by William Mercer as accepted on January 20.
