Fresh Lithographic Transfers by Waterlow 1857/59: Second Stone 1 c. dull red, a used vertical pair, upper stamp Type A (large 'O' in ONE), lower stamp Type C (with small 'O' and 'NT' spaced) with large margins all round and of lovely delicate colour, each stamp neatly cancelled by "A03" obliterator of Georgetown / Demerara in black. A great rarity with two types se-tenant, much finer than the pair offered by Spink in the 'Bartica' sale (Sept 2019, lot 20; described as unique, superb. Certs. Alcuri (1990), BPA (2020) Gi = £ 8'500.
