Recess by Perkins Bacon 1855/58: (1 d.) blue on white paper, a single example and a horizontal strip of three with good margins all round, used on 1857 cover to Trinidad, tied by "1" numeral obliterators with manuscript '1/4d.' for quadruple rate Ship fee alongside. Reverse with single ring (1) datestamp and double arc "Barbadoes" cds of despatch (Dec 21) and faint Trinidad arrival (Dec 23) in black.
