1864, 1 d, rose red, perf 14 + 6 d red brown imperf. + 2 d., pale blue, wmk NZ, perf 12 1/2, cancelled with numeral 1/AUCKLAND, 2 d. of the porto was missing, so the cover is taxed with 2 d. + 6 d., handstamped MORE/TO/PAY and DEFICIENT POSTAGE/FINE with manuscript 2 d and 6, full rate 8 d. (big manuscript number), one light bend through the 1 d. is of no relevance and one crease through the 2 d., still a fresh and attractive cover of high postal historical importance, this cover was not forwarded in London, the 1 d. was part of the franking originally in Auckland, exceedingly rare, cert. BPA, F-VF!. Estimate 20.000€.
