1952, EGYPT 1M(2), 10M and 20M(4), on imprinted royal stationery envelope "SECRETARIAT PRIVÉ " of KING FAROUK mailed to auctioneer Hans Grobe/Hannover. Vertical fold, cancelled by cds of the palace post office "PALAIS RAS el TIN 10.6.52", alongside official mark "SECRETARIAT PRIVE DE SA MAJESTÉ LE ROI", arrival Hannover 15.6.52. King Farouk, well known as a famous stamp collector, corresponded with major stamp dealers of the time.
A VERY RARE ROYAL STATIONERY COVER WRITTEN JUST A FEW WEEKS BEFORE THE KING WAS OVERTHROWN.
