1872/1875 Two early covers from Aden with scarce duplex cancellations, id est 1872 cover to a soldier at 23rd Regt. at Sagar, Central India franked India QV 4a. green (SG 69) tied by "ADEN.STEAMER.POINT/OC 8/72"-"124" duplex (Proud KD7, valued 3,000) and backstamped oval "SEA POST OFFICE/C/4 NO 72" d/s in blue plus arrival cds in red, and 1874 cover to London franked India 1868 8a. rose (with part of sheet marginal ornament at foot) tied by "ADEN./26 APR:."-"B-22" duplex (Proud KD8, valued 1,000), and with red London PAID arrival cds alongside. The first cover with missing parts at top (foreign paper inside), the later one with minor imperfections only.
