1861. George Washington, 10 Cents, green and 12 Cents, black on cover from Rockland MAR 11 1864 to CHINCHAS, Peru. Cancelled with fancy corc canel and ROCKLAND ME cds alongside. Originally rated "22" in manuscripte (crossed out), hand stamped "12" in red (crossed out in blue crayon) and rated "24" in the same blue crayon. Panama (British P.O.) transit on front and back stamped LIMA M APR 2 1864. Very rare exhibition item. Photo certificate BPA.
