1870-1944 "British Post Office in Nepal": Collection of 11 covers from or to Nepal, with unpaid 1870 cover from Kathmandu to Jung Bahadur Rana (Prime Minister of Nepal) at Patna and 1882 unpaid cover to Kathmandu from the Queen Regent of Nepal (banished to Benares), both with resp. "POSTAGE DUE" handstamps, 1921 cover Nepal-Tibet (with "NEPAL/DUE/1/2 ANNA" horseshoe) and 1944 cover Tibet-Nepal, three stampless covers (1934/1942(2)) from Nepal to Tibet with respective Pharijong horseshoe "DUE" handstamps, one from F.P.O. No.81 (RARE!), others with h/s in Devanagri, and a 1943 insured registered cover from the British Legation Nepal to Bombay, and others.
