1945 registered letter from DUMENZA (Province Varese) addressed for Piacenca, franked with parcel stamps in complete pairs (5 c, 1 L and 2x 50 c) in addition a 40 C postage due and a 5 c RSI "destructed buildings". "Emergency" usage as "ordinary stamps" of parcel and postage due stamps are rare, but not unseen for the Province of Varese, which had heavy activities of the Italian resistance.
