1895 Double-weight cover from Penang to India franked on back by 16 of 1892 1c. on 8c. green (vertical strip of six & two vert. stripes of five), all cancelled by Penang oval of bars (Prouf K15), with "C/PENANG/AP 25/95" c.d.s. on front, Indian transit and arrival datestamps on the reverse. Cover's front and back separated, edges with faults affecting two stamps, and toned; nevertheless an attractive and unusual franking for double rate.
