1876-1951: THE ENTIRE COLLECTION OF THE UPU SAMPLES OF HUNGARIAN POSTAL STATIONERIES THAT WERE FORMERLY PART OF A FAMOUS SCANDINAVIAN POSTAL MUSEUM. It shows all the Hungarian postal stationeries that the Scandinavian postal administration received from the UPU. Some still show in pencil the year of receipt and an archival number. The collection was stored in the archives of the postal museum. It contains in total 109 different items almost all in outstanding very fresh condition (they have never been in collectors hands). It particularly interesting to show which postal stationeries of Hungary were distributed by the UPU to its member states, at which date and from which printing (maybe some special printings for the UPU are to be discovered). The manuscript notes on some of the postal stationeries demonstrates their UPU specimen status. To our knowledge it is the first time ever that such a UPU postal stationery collection has been offered. A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY FOR RESEARCH.
