1839, Greece, entire letter from Athens, 23.NOEM 1839, to Farringdon in Great Britain, sent via Piraeus and underwent disinfection on transit in Malta, where circular cachet "PURIFIE AU LAZARET / MALTA" and disinfection slots were applied, further boxed handstamp "BRITISH FOREIGN", french maritime dater "GRECE / MARSEILLE", transit London and arrival mark. Letter despite some flaws/brittle in fine condition. Very rare Disinfection Mail!
