1872 Cover from Paris to YEDDO (today Tokio) via Brindisi and Yokohama, franked by French 1862-70 Napoleon 5c. pair, 40c. and 80c. all tied by Paris numeral "20", with boxed "P.P." in red and Paris '28 Juin 72' despatch c.d.s. on front, French railway and Yokohama '10 Aout 72' transit datestamps on the reverse. The cover was addressed to a Captain of Artillery, Military Mission in Japan. Envelope opened a bit roughly (part back-flap missing), but still good.
