1872 Wing-marginal single 24c. green used on cover from Galle to London 'Via Brindisi' in 1879, tied by "B" in oval of bars, 'Stamped' in m/s and "GALLE PAID/NO 22/79" cds, London '13 Dec 79' arrival cds on the reverse. Cover with partially toned and creased edges but a fine stamp, and a scarce single franking of the 24c.
