1898 "MISSENT/TO PENANG." two-line handstamp in black (Proud I 5 but with stop after PENANG, and an earlier date than listed by Proud) on Indian postal stationery card 1a. blue sent from TRANQUEBAR (former Danish Settlement) to PENIG, Germany via Colombo, but missent to Penang, cancelled by Tranquebar '8 NO 98' cds, with Colombo transit cds, Penang '17 NO 98' cds and Penig '11.12.98' arrival cds. Postcard slightly creases with short perfs at lower part, but still fine appearance, and a scarce missent mail.
