1914, registered card "KOSMOS International Correspondence Alliance" from "AMSTERDAM 15.9.14" addressed to Ukewere Island in Lake Victoria (German East Africa) and endorsed "Post Muanza via Mombasa" (British East Africa). Due to this routing the item got into the British Postal system and was consequentially stopped in London with applied 2line "UNDELIVERABLE / L.P.S." and boxed "Undelivered for reason stated...", oval dater 3 OCT 14 and returned to Amsterdam 7.10.14. On reverse pre-printed message with new members listed and trilingual note "On account of the political state of Europe, this card takes the place of the number for September".
